House League

 

Our House League program is aimed at developing skill sets and court awareness for players between the ages of 9-11 and 12-14 in a fun, energetic environment. Each 90-minute session will be divided into 45 minutes of skill development and 45 minutes of game play. Throughout the program, teams will compete against one another. The league will culminate in a playoff championship with awards being presented to the top-placing teams.

 

Ages: 9-11 and 12-14 for volleyball

         

Fall Session: Sunday, October 16th - Sunday, December 18th, 2011

Winter Session: Sunday, January 8th - Sunday, March 4th, 2012

Location: Bill Crothers SS (44 Main St. Unionville)

Times: 3:00-4:30pm - ages 12-14

           4:30-6:00pm - age 9-11

           

Cost: $150/session (9 classes/ session)

*Includes team shirt and awards

- Fall/Winter House League enrollment is on a first come, first served basis
- No experience required for participation

Advanced Training Program

 

Our Advanced Volleyball program is aimed at providing a challenging training environment for players who are serious about improving their skills. In each 90-minute class, athletes will be put through drills in an advanced training format. Players will also spend a portion of each class competing in various game situations.

 

Ages: 12-14 years old

Fall Session: Sunday, October 16th - Sunday, December 18th, 2011

Winter Session: Sunday, January 8th - Sunday, March 4th, 2012

Location: Bill Crothers SS (44 Main St Unionville)

Times: 4:30-6:00pm

Cost: $150/session (9 classes/ session)

Beach Volleyball

 

Our 2011-2012 Beach Volleyball Program has now finished for the season. Please check back in April, 2012 for information on our 2012 spring and summer Beach Volleyball Camp and Program

Stingerball 3-ball

 

Stingerball 3-ball, our newest program, is catered to children ages 5-7 and includes 3 sports: volleyball, basketball, and soccer. Each class, instructors will focus on one sport challenging students through drills and game situations. Throughout the 9-week course, 3 classes will be devoted to each sport. The goal of this program is to provide young athletes with a basic foundation in coordination, skill development and a love for team sports.

 

Ages: 5-7 years old

Fall Session: Sun, Oct 16- Sun, Dec 18

Winter Session: Sun, Jan 8- Sun, Mar 4

MIPS

 

Our MIPS volleyball program focusses on developing skill sets for young and inexperienced players. Through a modified teaching approach children are taught the fundamental skills and have the opportunity to practice and refine these skills individually and in game situations.

Spring Training

Our Spring Training Volleyball Program is geared towards athletes of all ages. The overall focus of this program is on individual skill development within various aspects of the game. With the younger age groups, we will focus on the learning and acquisition of each skill (forearm pass, volley, serve, spike, etc) and will incorporate these skills into game situations. With the older age groups, time will also be devoted to individual skill development but will be within the context of higher-level volleyball. Position specialty, defensive and offensive formations, and strategy will also be emphasized with our older age groups.

Summer Camp 2012

 

Advanced Training Camp - ages 12-14

This camp is designed for players with prior or current experience on a school or rep team or who wish to play on a competitive or school team in the future. Players will be taught advanced skills and techniques in a fun and high-energy environment. The focus of this age group is to develop individual skills in all areas of the game and to introduce position specialization. (*Separate camps for volleyball & basketball)

Skill Development Camp - ages 8-11

This camp is designed for players who are developing their skills and foundation for the sport. Athletes will be taught fundamental skills and will gain an understanding of form and strategy. While a lot of time will be devoted to skill development, players will also have the opportunity to compete with others at the same level in game situations. (*Separate camps for volleyball & basketball)

Multi-Sport Camp - ages 5-7

The Multi-Sport Camp will expose young athletes to games and activities in 3 different sports: volleyball, basketball, and soccer. The goal of this camp is to provide campers with a basic foundation in coordination, skill development and a love for team sports. Campers will go through a series of drills and games in a fun, active, inclusive environment.
